I have never painted an advanced piece in Tunisia since I lived here. This graffiti is inspired by the graffiti that I do along the highways but more evolved. I wanted to give an impression of speed and movement. The style of the letters takes second place; the idea of ​​a combat module is favored.

Jaye X Ampersand show world tour 2024

The Ampersand world tour 2024 project is initiated by Casey Zoltan of the Known gallery Los Angeles. Each artist must interpret the Ampersand pattern. The exhibition will travel to several countries and several continents.
I live in a country where graffiti artists have little or no opportunity to show their work. I became interested in metal work in 2014 because once settled in Tunisia I did not find the quality material that I was used to when I lived in France. I thus merged my universe from graffiti while trying to develop a technique and personal style when working with metal.
I rusted the inside of the sculpture in order to bring a natural red/rust color created intentionally in order to break with the color of the steel.

Around 2014/15 due to lack of technical means, no quality aerosol cans in Tunisia, I became interested in a new medium… metal work… I work with metal by bringing my world of graffiti to it. I work regularly and produce while trying to develop a personal technique… After around ten years of development and creations, the idea came to me to translate this into the street. It’s not a simple thing because there is a technical aspect to fill. After a lot of thought, here is my first attempt
